Financial Operations Specialist

The role of a Financial Operations Specialist involves playing a pivotal part in ensuring the company's financial operations are running smoothly. The incumbent will be responsible for managing month-end, year-end, and early close processes to guarantee accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage month-end, year-end, and early close processes
  • Prepare and finalize financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss, and cash flow statements
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
  • Manage multiple entities across Australia, Indonesia, and Singapore, reviewing monthly balance sheets, banking, and inter-company reconciliations, and completing monthly accruals and journals

Requirements:

  • Numerate and commercial skills, with strong mathematical and analytical abilities
  • High proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, and ERP (Xero and Netsuite)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise financial reports
  • Experience in accounting, consolidated reporting, and general ledger management, preferably with international reporting experience

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Studies, or similar
  • Certification such as CPA, CA, CIMA, or ACCA
