This is a unique opportunity to join an Advanced Analytics team, specifically the Customer Analytics and Decision Science group.

The team plays a pivotal role in providing valuable insights into customer behaviours and preferences to inform decision making and strategic direction for Retail and Future Energy & Technology.

The Customer Analytics and Decision Science group consists of three key functions: Customer Analytics, Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), and Optimisation/Segmentation.

This role will predominantly focus on supporting the Customer Analytics function, working closely with senior stakeholders to develop insights and recommendations that improve business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support incoming insights requests as key contact point.
  • Provide analytical insight support across Electricity, Gas, and Broadband portfolios.
  • Become expert in customer behaviour; identify problems/opportunities, investigate, and recommend actions to improve outcomes.
  • Lead senior stakeholder engagements to develop insights and recommendations to improve business.
  • Own key strategic initiatives.
  • Present regular updates at key decision-making forums.
About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong data analysis skills developed through tertiary study and/or 8+ years of experience in previous roles.
  • Evidence of using insights to support improved decisioning.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in building strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to take ownership of initiatives, prioritise, and deliver on time.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • Proficient in SQL and dashboarding (preferably Tableau).
