Job Title: Maintenance Officer

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and carry out cleaning, maintenance, and regular inspections.
• Check and maintain equipment, buildings, and grounds as per the maintenance plan.
• Test pool water, record results, and manage chemical levels to meet safety rules.
• Keep an accurate list of all equipment and report any changes.
• Work with the Centre Coordinator to manage safety risks and follow health and safety rules.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience in an aquatic facility overseeing capital works, pool water quality, and property, plant, and equipment maintenance or similar.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals.
• Ability to manage projects and engage, schedule, and supervise contractors and tradespersons.
• Experience managing risk and work health and safety obligations, preferably in a sport/recreation environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated understanding of relevant statutory, regulatory, and policy obligations relating to the management of aquatic facilities.
• Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
