Project Officer Role

The department is seeking experienced professionals to join the dynamic team. In this role, you will support multiple IT-focused projects through effective administration, coordination, and reporting.

As a Project Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with stakeholders to support project delivery and outcomes
  • Planning, delivering, and monitoring project tasks independently and proactively
  • Preparing and maintaining project documentation for diverse audiences
  • Undertaking administrative and coordination tasks following project methodology
  • Maintaining and using databases to support reporting, monitoring, and evaluation
  • Responding to enquiries, drafting correspondence, and executive briefings

You will be required to possess:

  • Proven experience coordinating projects and monitoring progress
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work flexibly
  • Ability to make sound decisions with autonomy for moderately complex tasks
  • Experience managing workflow
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
