The McGrath Cancer Care Nurse is responsible for providing expert clinical care to patients with breast cancer. This includes:

  • Developing and reviewing clinical guidelines to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Modeling advanced nursing practice and mentoring colleagues to enhance their skills.
Leadership in Practice

This role involves guiding best practice, developing and reviewing clinical guidelines, and modeling advanced nursing practice. The successful candidate will have the ability to influence future directions in breast cancer services.

The successful candidate will provide education and support to colleagues and contribute to the professional development of the broader cancer nursing team. This includes:

  • Mentoring new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
Collaborative Partnerships

This role involves building strong links with oncology, palliative care, allied health, and community services. The successful candidate will have the ability to collaborate effectively with other teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Advocacy and Awareness
