Your future role
We have an exciting opportunity available for a System Testing and Validation Engineer to join our team responsible for the delivery of critical infrastructure projects across Perth. In this role you will primarily be based at our Perth CBD office, but be required to work across the network for testing and validation activities.

- Ensuring a return experience towards the project, and ensure that all design related issues are correctly reported in the adequate tools.
- Follow-up of detected issues and deliver commissioning reports.
- Checking that the test tools are in perfect working order and calibrated.
- Supporting V&V team and perform tests in lab as per request.
- Delivering committed performance in terms of Quality, Costs and Deadlines and in compliance with local standards and regulations (in particular EHS and Railway Safety).
All about you

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive and agile approach, with the ability to work autonomously.
- Experience in Rail Signalling, ideally within testing and commissioning.
- Australian recognised tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Electrical, Electronic, Systems or similar).
- The ability to work night shift for testing activities.
- A full Australian driver's licence (preferred).
You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you'll be proud. If you're up for the challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
Things you'll enjoy
Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You'll also benefit from:
- Being part of a collaborative team delivering critical infrastructure projects for Perth.
- 18 weeks paid parental leave.
- Free gym membership.
- Purchased annual leave and a novated leasing scheme.
- Independent and confidential wellbeing support for you and your family.
- Our investment in your development, through award-winning learning.
