Advanced Atomic Physicist

This is a highly specialized position requiring expertise in atomic, molecular or quantum physics. You will be working on the development and integration of advanced atomic sensors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in scientific principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical guidance and directions to a team of physicists and engineers
- Designing and prototyping optical, mechanical and electronics subsystems for atomic sensors
- Optimization and ruggedization of atomic sensors for practical applications
- Atomic sensor integration, optimization and deployment in real-world environments
- Minimum PhD in atomic, molecular or quantum physics
- Familiarity with laser spectroscopy, laser-cooling and atom interferometry of atomic species
- Aptitude towards programming and automation, with preference for Python skills
- Expertise with ultra-high vacuum systems and narrow linewidth lasers
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively
