Registered Mental Health Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team in a regional health service providing essential mental health care across inpatient and community settings in South Australia.

Key Responsibilities

This is a permanent position for a Registered Nurse specializing in mental health. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a supportive, team-focused environment with locations including Berri and nearby towns.

  • Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with professional standards and guidelines
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in mental health nursing (inpatient or community)
  • Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health
  • Full working rights in Australia; sponsorship available
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle or willingness to acquire one
  • 3+ years post-registration experience for Clinical Nurse level
  • Experience mentoring junior staff
  • Regional/rural health experience
