Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maritime Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety, integrity, and security of designated maritime zones.

The key responsibilities of this role include managing and controlling access to maritime zones, verifying contractor induction cards and Maritime Security Identification Cards (MSICs), and maintaining records of sign-in/out logs, incident reports, and daily communication diaries.

The officer will also conduct regular patrols across gates, buildings, and site perimeters, monitor CCTV, fire and access control systems, and respond to alarms and onsite incidents.

In addition, the Maritime Security Officer will support emergency situations, including First Aid response when required, and perform Gatehouse duties including visitor management and surveillance support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current QLD Security Licence
  • Current Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
  • First Aid Certificate (Senior Level)
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
