About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team on a casual basis. As part of this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe provision of quality repairs and maintenance of the grounds and gardens.

Your key responsibilities will include:

">
  1. ">
  2. Ensuring the facility grounds and external areas are kept clean and well maintained at all times.">
  3. Supervising and coordinating external contractors in servicing the facility, managing relationships with suppliers and contractors.">
  4. Ensuring that all tasks detailed on the daily, weekly & monthly facility maintenance task lists are completed within set timeframes and all documentation is completed to ensure compliance.">
  5. Identifying preventative maintenance requirements, completing the works and documentation of schedules.">
  6. Assisting in sourcing appropriate suppliers and or contractors in consultation with the Facility Manager as required.">

About You

">

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

">
  • ">
  • A trade background and several years industry experience.">
  • Hold current relevant tickets including a White/Blue Card.">
  • A current drivers license.">
  • A good understanding of WH&S and ability to maintain a safe working environment at all times.">
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate desirable.">
  • Highly organised with a proven capability to self-manage and prioritise.">
  • Ability to represent and build relationships with other divisions.">
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).">

What We Offer

This is a casual opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of $25.50 per hour.

Work hours will be day shift, with flexibility to commute or relocate to Narangba, QLD 4879.

">

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in property/grounds maintenance and building works in an aged care setting.
