Farm Product Specialist

The Sales Agronomist position involves delivering expert product knowledge and agronomic advice to existing client bases.
You will be a key member of a high-performing team, providing agronomic and technical support to farmers and producers in the region.
Main responsibilities include:
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Developing an understanding of clients' business goals and sharing relevant market information
- Targeting new clients through superior sales and agronomic input
Additional responsibilities include:
- Staying up-to-date with the latest plant production practices
- Organizing field days and farmer meetings
To succeed in this role, you should have established yourself as a trusted advisor in an agronomy role and demonstrate an understanding of products, seasonal timings, and general requirements for rural producers.
You will also possess:
- Strong customer service, organizational, administrative, and computing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in sales process management and call cycle management
- A tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related field
