We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our assurance team, you will be responsible for leading full range of assurance projects including planning, testing, reviewing and reporting stages on large and complex client engagements.

Your impact will be seen by delivering reviews covering identity and access management, security management, IT governance, emerging technology risks (e.g BYOD and cloud), IT compliance, business intelligence, BCP and DRP, and IT alignment to business strategy. You will also equip clients to make decisions based on accurate information by establishing the right controls, processes and structures.

About this role:

  • Lead a full range of assurance projects, including planning, testing, reviewing and reporting stages on large and complex client engagements.
  • Deliver reviews covering identity and access management, security management, IT governance, emerging technology risks, IT compliance, business intelligence, BCP and DRP, and IT alignment to business strategy.
  • Equip clients to make decisions based on accurate information by establishing the right controls, processes and structures.
  • Optimise technology control activities, technology and operational strategy, and policies and procedures.
  • Lead and contribute to large and small scale projects throughout the year.
  • Work closely with your teams to develop their skills and grow from a personal and professional perspective; a passion for coaching and development.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in financial services, technology risk and controls environments, IT general controls, testing of automated IT dependent controls, as well as experience in internal audit, advisory, and/or third party assurance engagements.
  • A strong appreciation of the complexities and challenges that organisations face around the use of existing and emerging technology and how to solve them from strategy to execution.
