As a critical member of the Yurika team, you will play a vital role in advancing the energy transition towards net zero.

We are seeking an experienced Metering Technician 1-3 to join our Sydney-based team and support our Metering Specialist in undertaking specialist work on low voltage and high voltage metering assets across New South Wales and Victoria.

The successful candidate will assist with complex testing practices and procedures on behalf of Yurika's metering customers and other clients, as well as support the installation and maintenance of all types of metering services for Yurika in New South Wales and other areas as required.

A key aspect of this role is your ability to provide support in the high voltage testing of instrument transformers.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and rapidly growing industry.

We offer a competitive salary package, including:

  • Metering Technician 1: $108,859 per annum (9-day fortnight) plus 14.75% superannuation
  • Metering Technician 2: $128,919 per annum (9-day fortnight) or $148,901 per annum (10-day fortnight) plus 14.75% superannuation
  • Metering Technician 3: $141,453 per annum (9-day fortnight) or $159,842 per annum (10-day fortnight) plus 14.75% superannuation

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to possess:

  • A current Electrical Workers Licence, trade qualified within New South Wales or the ability to obtain mutual recognition
  • A current 'C' class Driver's Licence
  • Demonstrated ability in installation, testing and fault finding of complex metering systems (including telecommunication equipment)
  • Strong time-management skills and an ability to plan, prioritise and co-ordinate resources to deliver positive outcomes within agreed timeframes
  • Excellent customer service skills with ability to solve issues and adapt/learn new skills
  • Ability to use a variety of electronic devices and learn new software/skills effectively
  • Availability for extensive travel across the state
  • Experience working in HV enclosures including maintenance and testing of instrument transformers (highly desirable)

Additionally, you will be required to complete a pre-employment medical as part of the selection process.
