About the Role:

The Counsellor will hold a case load and provide specialist Counselling support to victims of Sexual Assault.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide trauma-informed practice.
  • Assess and manage consumer files and databases.
  • Maintain written reports.

Requirements include: Tertiary qualifications in counselling, social work or relevant equivalent; Demonstrated understanding of the impact of trauma and trauma informed practice. Skills also include excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure and flexibility to promote practices that are inclusive, culturally responsive, safe and accessible.
