About the Role

This role exists to support ATSICHS Brisbane's growth in critical areas of the business, including capital development projects, BiOC, and Child Protection programs. Reporting to the General Manager of New Business and Development, you will assist with leading these key initiatives and contribute to achieving organizational success within the respective business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership and Management: Lead and manage projects to deliver successful outcomes, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Financial Management: Manage financial resources effectively, ensuring accurate budgeting, financial reporting, and cost management.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, maintaining high-quality services and outcomes.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit reports, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with diverse stakeholders, including community members, staff, and partners, to build strong relationships and achieve shared goals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification: A degree in business administration, project management, community services, finance, or a related field.
  • Work Experience: At least 3 years and/or specific transferrable skills in similar roles.
  • Project Management Expertise: Strong skills in project planning, execution, monitoring, and completion.
  • Understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities: Strong understanding of cultural, social, and economic issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, negotiation, and persuasive communication skills, and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Financial Acumen: Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and cost management related to capital development projects.

Desirable:

  • Adaptability in a Dynamic Environment: Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment where adaptability and quick decision-making are essential.
  • Proven Track Record in Project Delivery: Demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex projects, particularly in capital development and community programs.
