WHSEQ Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled WHSEQ Advisor to join our team at JCDecaux. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for fostering a strong safety culture within our company.

Your primary focus will be on delivering field and office-based education and leadership programs to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.

You will work closely with Senior Contractor Management teams to assist in the delivery of WHSEQ assurance activities across both field and office-based stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and delivery of the Integrated Management System (IMS) as it relates to contractors and employees of JCDecaux AU
• Conduct field-based assurance exercises such as workplace inspections and behavioural interventions
• Support the delivery of WHSEQ activities such as risk management processes, incident investigation & corrective action close out
• Participate in the development & delivery of educational packages in both office and field-based settings
• Assist in delivery of objectives and targets to ensure successful reaccreditation across all applicable ISO and AS/NZS standards
• Assist Operational Managers in Worker's Compensation initial claim management and provide ongoing support to Return to Work Coordinators
• Support the wider WHSEQ team in the management of Worker's Compensation claims

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced WHSEQ professional who has a genuine passion for safety and has prior experience within a similar role.

You will possess:

• Qualification in Work Health and Safety or related discipline OR Allied Health with occupational experience in WHS
• Qualifications in Workplace Training, Internal or External Audit (desirable)
• Demonstrated ability to work in the field to identify risk management solutions, deliver risk assessments, incident investigation, and development and delivery of training and education
• High standard of oral and written communication skills
• Strong ability to prioritize and work self-sufficiently
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
