Medical Laboratory Technician G1

This is a permanent, full-time position in the Microbiology Department at a leading healthcare facility. We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician Grade 1 to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for specimen processing, microscopy, and various other tasks related to organism identification and antimicrobial susceptibility testing.

We require relevant qualification and demonstrable Microbiology knowledge. Experience working in a diagnostic Microbiology laboratory is essential. Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team are also required.

The successful applicant will have strong time management skills with an ability to prioritise and cope with stressful situations. Availability to work rotating shifts including day and afternoon-evening shifts, weekdays, weekends, and public holidays is necessary.
