We are seeking an experienced governance lawyer to transition into a content-focused role.
This opportunity is perfect for lawyers looking to leverage their legal expertise and adapt to a new career path while staying at the forefront of legal developments relevant to corporate counsel.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong practice background or keen interest in governance and/or corporate counsel, with excellent communication and plain-English writing skills. They will also have aptitude for building and fostering relationships with diverse clients and stakeholders, as well as analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
In this role, you will develop and maintain high-quality practical legal content, including guidance notes, checklists, precedents, and legal updates. You will also prepare and maintain practically-focused content for our popular Practical Guidance product, which is Australia's most established and trusted 'how-to' of legal practice.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality practical legal content.
- Prepare and maintain practically-focused content for our Practical Guidance product.
- Provide support to Relationship Managers to help build brand awareness and influence market share across clients and stakeholders.
- Participate in or contribute to in-market activities, such as masterclasses, webinars, and customer feedback sessions.
- Australian qualified lawyer with 3+ years PQE.
- Recent experience in an Australian mid to top-tier law firm or in-house counsel role.
- Strong practice background or keen interest in governance and/or corporate counsel.
- Excellent communication and plain-English writing skills.
- Aptitude for building and fostering relationships with diverse clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
