Our client seeks an experienced professional to support the execution of a high-priority Defence project. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in programme management and will be responsible for leading day-to-day activities associated with project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programme management, with experience in coordinating joint COMSEC directorate acquisition activities and providing regular updates on project progress. They will also be responsible for preparing and maintaining project artefacts, as well as reviewing capability documentation.

The Capability Manager (CM) will work closely with CASG stakeholders to develop plan Delphic phase 1 MAA implementation, ILS and delivery plans. The CM will identify potential risks to effective project delivery, analyse these risks and develop mitigation plans.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading day-to-day programmatic activities associated with project delivery
  • Coordinating joint COMSEC directorate acquisition activities
  • Preparing and maintaining project artefacts
  • Reviewing capability documentation
  • Developing plan Delphic phase 1 MAA implementation, ILS and delivery plans
  • Identifying potential risks to effective project delivery and developing mitigation plans

Requirements include:

  • Extensive experience in programme management
  • Ability to work closely with COMSEC stakeholders, including CASG and Service Headquarters
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate under broad direction and work outcomes-focussed as part of a small integrated team
