Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to deliver comprehensive technical solutions for SAP H4S4 Payroll. This entails hands-on configuration of schemas, PCRs, wage types, infotypes, retro-calculation logic, off-cycle and year-end processing.

  • Leading workshops with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to identify business requirements and design solution blueprints.
  • Configuring schemas, PCRs, wage types, infotypes, retro-calculation logic, off-cycle and year-end processing to ensure seamless payroll operations.
  • Designing and implementing integrations with ECECP, time/benefits systems, and Finance postings to optimize data exchange.
  • Developing and executing data migration, parallel-run, reconciliation, and cutover plans to minimize disruptions during system changes.
  • Establishing defect triage processes, testing frameworks (unit, SIT, UAT), and audit-ready documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Providing ongoing support including payroll cycle monitoring, exception handling, and legislative/tax updates to maintain accurate and compliant payroll operations.
About the Role

To succeed in this position, you should possess a strong background in SAP Payroll and experience working in complex consulting environments. Key skills include:

  • Deep functional knowledge of SAP HCM Payroll on S/4HANA (H4S4).
  • Hands-on expertise in schema configuration, PCR setup, wage type management, and payroll rule implementation.
  • Strong consulting skills, facilitating discovery, fit-gap analysis, and solution design to meet business needs.
  • Experience working across diverse payroll landscapes, ensuring compliance with local variations and regulations.
  • Practical payroll administration knowledge, encompassing end-to-end cycles and reconciliations.
  • Integration skills across ECECP, CPI, IDoc/web services, and Finance postings to ensure seamless data exchange.
  • Discipline in testing, cutover, documentation, and stakeholder engagement to deliver high-quality results.

This 12-month contract offers the opportunity to lead the design, configuration, and continuous optimization of SAP S/4HANA (HCM) Payroll (H4S4) solutions, ensuring accuracy and compliance in a complex landscape.
