Unlock a new opportunity as an Environmental Scientist with our dynamic team.

We are seeking a highly motivated Environmental Scientist to facilitate environmental and contaminated land projects in Regional Victoria.

The ideal candidate will have skills to collect and report on environmental and contaminated land data specifically in groundwater, soil contamination, landfill gas, data quality, planning, and facilitating site maintenance and improvement programs.

  • Collect and analyze environmental data from various sources, including groundwater and surface water samples.
  • Conduct fieldwork and sampling activities for both surface and groundwaters, gas monitoring, and soil sampling.
  • Document all fieldwork, sampling, and monitoring activities with attention to detail and high data quality.

As a member of our team, you will work closely with us to ensure the success of our environmental projects. You will be responsible for:

Job Duties
  • Data collection and analysis for large-scale environmental monitoring programs.
  • Project management, including inception to completion, OH&S, financial management, laboratory coordination, data collation, and reporting.
  • Fieldwork and environmental data collection for both surface and groundwaters, gas monitoring, and soil sampling.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • High level MS Excel user (mandatory), and experience in the use of ESDAT, Hydstra, Campbells, AutoCAD, and Arc GIS is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to travel and work remotely, away from home for up to a week at a time.
