Critical Care Nurse

Perth Children's Hospital is a tertiary paediatric hospital providing primary and secondary healthcare services to infants, children and young people. We have an opportunity for a skilled nurse to join our Paediatric Critical Care (PCC) team.
The PCC unit provides comprehensive care to critically ill and injured children in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and High Dependency Unit (HDU). As a member of our team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and support families through their child's journey.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
We are seeking a registered nurse with:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience working in a paediatric critical care setting or equivalent experience in adult intensive care with a focus on paediatrics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
