Nurse - Critical Care

The Critical Care Unit is a dynamic and specialized environment that requires dedicated and skilled nurses to provide high-quality patient care.
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team, working in a 11-bed combined ICU, HDU, CCU. This role offers the opportunity to work in Cardio-thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, and Interventional Cardiology.
This is a full-time position with excellent opportunities for professional development and growth. Our Clinical Nurse Educator is available to provide supported learning to all staff, regardless of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care that meets the needs of patients and their families.
- Mentor and support Level 1 Nurses to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient safety and outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with the NUM to ensure smooth operations and effective management of the unit.
- Co-ordinate shift rotas, patient flow, and staffing requirements to meet the needs of the unit.
About You:
- You will have a minimum of 2 years perioperative experience and be able to work effectively as part of a cohesive team.
- Able to work across several specialities (Scrub/Scout) and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
