Job Opportunity

This is a permanent full-time role as a Science Teacher at Darling Range Sports College, commencing Term 1, 2026.

The successful applicant will be an integral part of a skilled and dynamic team of specialist teachers who are committed to excellence in teaching and learning.

  • Deliver high-quality curriculum programs in Science to students in the Senior School.
  • Provide students with opportunities to engage in Science, strive for excellence, and improve student outcomes.
  • Be proactive in improving student outcomes and contribute to the implementation of Explicit Instruction across all learning areas.

Teachers will start 2026 in new, modern facilities incorporating the latest design philosophies to engage and inspire students to reach their full potential in the Science learning area.

Essential Requirements
  • Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
  • Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before starting.
  • Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before starting.
