We are seeking a seasoned financial expert to take ownership of our global audit for the next 5 months.

This is a contract assignment (initially 5 months) with a laser focus on statutory audit, supporting the CFO and commercial finance team through a high-volume, multi-entity review process.

The business has operations in Australia, the UK, Ireland, and Poland, with reporting under AASB/IFRS and a remote-first finance team.

If you're audit trained and love tidying up reconciliations, working with auditors, and managing the detail, this could be your ideal contract.

This role is perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys audit work and wants to be trusted to get it done.

About the Role:

  • Manage the preparation and delivery of global and local statutory audits
  • Liaise with local and international auditors across multiple entities
  • Assist with clean-up of prior-year files and audit documentation
  • Support the CFO and broader team with cashflow and close-out activities
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from audit partners and senior leadership
  • Deliver files, explanations, and reconciliations on time and with accuracy
  • Work with offshore and cross-functional teams across Australia, UK, and Europe

Requirements:

  • You're CA, CPA qualified or international equivalent
  • You have strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with statutory audits
  • You're detail-driven, highly organised, and calm under pressure
  • You enjoy audit – and want a role where it's the main focus
  • You're confident with remote work and can manage time and delivery independently
