Senior Project Manager


The Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our projects from start to finish.

  • Manage all aspects of the project including contract management, estimating, programming of work and defect rectification.
  • Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors.
  • Manage project start-up, maintain project schedule and ensure effective handover, including holding regular project management meetings.
  • Report on project success, results, progress, and deployment of activity.
  • Maintain the project site, premises, plant & equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements.
Project Scope
  • Leveraging off successful Wharf remediation projects, continue to grow BHP Iron Ore Portfolio at Port and Mine.
Key Responsibilities
  • Experience in a similar role within the Mining industry.
  • Strong work history on sites with already built relationships.
  • Demonstrated performance in project execution from beginning to end.
  • Strong ability in contract and project cost control management in the construction/mining industry.
  • Contract valuation and project forecasting knowledge.
  • Proven Leadership skills and ability to identify and manage teams to their strengths.
  • Understanding of all Quality Management.
