We are seeking a visionary and experienced leader to head our English department. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for leading and developing our curriculum, managing staff, and driving student achievement.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with national standards and expectations.
- Lead and manage a team of English teachers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of subjects and effective use of resources.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address these.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider community.
- Master's degree in Education or related field.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a strong track record of improving student outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, students, and parents.
- Ability to think strategically, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address challenges effectively.
