The Role Suitable applicants should display a sound understanding of the Year 7 to 10 Western Australian English Curriculum and Senior School English courses.
Experience in teaching ATAR would be highly desirable.
Applicants will ideally have the necessary knowledge, skills, and understanding to prepare students for National Assessment Program: Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) and Online Literacy and Numeracy Assessment (OLNA).
Ideally we are seeking applicants who have proven abilities in learning program planning and instructional practice to facilitate improved student outcomes.
Suitable applicants should be able to provide engaging, relevant, and meaningful learning experiences.
The learning environment you create should be differentiated, challenging, caring and creative, while catering for a range of needs that sees all students progressing and achieving.
Additionally, suitable applicants should be able to utilise evidence-based teaching practices whilst employing a range of assessment and reporting methods.
You will ideally support the implementation of the school business plan, work and teach in a team environment, and be committed to whole school approaches and initiatives.
Suitable applicants should be able to build and maintain a positive learning environment therefore effective classroom management is critical to this role.
