Job Title: Early Years Team Lead

We seek an experienced and passionate leader to manage our childcare team in Osborne Park. This is a part-time role (15-25 hours per week) suitable for someone who's confident managing teams, loves working with children, and thrives in a supportive environment.

This position requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. A passion for health, fitness, and creating positive member experiences is also essential.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise children ensuring a safe, welcoming, and engaging crèche environment
  • Oversee check-in/check-out processes, adhering to policies and procedures
  • Manage, support, and train crèche staff to deliver exceptional care and service
  • Handle staff rostering and shift management
  • Lead team meetings and present updates during regular club catch-ups
  • Monitor and manage team performance, providing feedback and support
  • Address customer feedback, concerns, and escalations professionally
  • Maintain and oversee crèche cleanliness
  • Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations and staff qualifications
  • Complete incident reporting and maintain documentation

About You:

  • Previous experience in childcare or crèche management roles
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • A passion for health, fitness, and creating positive member experiences
  • Proven ability to manage teams and rosters effectively
  • Experience with customer service and handling escalations
  • Knowledge of childcare compliance, incident protocols, and duty of care
  • Reliable, well-presented, and highly organised
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Availability to work flexible hours aligned with gym operations
  • Full Australian working rights
