
Early Years Team Lead

We seek an experienced and passionate leader to manage our childcare team in Osborne Park. This is a part-time role (15-25 hours per week) suitable for someone who's confident managing teams, loves working with children, and thrives in a supportive environment.
This position requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. A passion for health, fitness, and creating positive member experiences is also essential.
Main Responsibilities:- Supervise children ensuring a safe, welcoming, and engaging crèche environment
- Oversee check-in/check-out processes, adhering to policies and procedures
- Manage, support, and train crèche staff to deliver exceptional care and service
- Handle staff rostering and shift management
- Lead team meetings and present updates during regular club catch-ups
- Monitor and manage team performance, providing feedback and support
- Address customer feedback, concerns, and escalations professionally
- Maintain and oversee crèche cleanliness
- Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations and staff qualifications
- Complete incident reporting and maintain documentation
About You:
- Previous experience in childcare or crèche management roles
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A passion for health, fitness, and creating positive member experiences
- Proven ability to manage teams and rosters effectively
- Experience with customer service and handling escalations
- Knowledge of childcare compliance, incident protocols, and duty of care
- Reliable, well-presented, and highly organised
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Availability to work flexible hours aligned with gym operations
- Full Australian working rights
