Empathetic Support for Seniors

We are seeking volunteers to provide emotional support and care to elderly residents in our aged care homes.

As a volunteer, you will work closely with a local church to assist and complement the efforts of our Pastoral Care Coordinator.

  • Assist residents in meeting their spiritual needs

To succeed in this role, you will need high interpersonal skills, including empathy and active listening. Pastoral care training such as Chaplaincy or Clinical Pastoral Education is also highly desirable.
