Underground Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking highly skilled Electricians to join our underground team in Narrabri, NSW.
The role involves undertaking and directing electrical maintenance activities as needed on a shift basis.
You will work collaboratively with your crew members, assisting where required and contribute positively to high performance behaviour in the workplace.
You will support site HSEC policies and procedures, following safe work practices for the work process.
You will inspect the work area and plant for hazards, damage and defects.
You will complete all necessary statutory equipment inspections in your panel.
- Electrical Trade Qualification/License
- Experience/Qualifications in Flameproof Protection Enclosures
- Experience/Qualifications in Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas Training (EEHA)
A strong commitment to safety is essential. Ability to meet clean-shaven requirements in line with underground coal mining respiratory safety standards is also required.
Ability to work rotating shifts – day, night and afternoon is preferred.
