Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the customer experience in every store in the state, ensuring exceptional service and sales results.
- Inspire and motivate your team through a hands-on approach, leading by example and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Apply and lead the commercial business strategy to the state, ensuring achievement and exceedance of store sales and profit targets.
- Be accountable for wage and stocktake results within the state, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Recruit, train, and retain high-caliber team members in line with the Johnny BIGG brand values and ensure a structured onboarding process.
- Identify high-performing team members and develop them in line with their personal development plans.
- Coach and mentor Area Managers and Store Managers to develop their skills and confidence to achieve personal and professional goals.
- Be a strong communicator who can lead, coach, develop, and influence others, driving a dynamic culture and fostering collaboration.
- Strong commercial and visual merchandising skills with the ability to trade the business, analyzing results and strategies for improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years plus experience in state management, with a proven track record of success.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to lead, coach, and develop others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with strong business acumen and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of KPIs and their impact on the business, with experience in leading, coaching, and managing a state team.
- Self-motivated, with a can-do attitude and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with a wider national team.
