Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled wheel alignment technician to join our service team in Melbourne. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for conducting tire repairs, rotations, and balancing.

You will inspect, install, balance, rotate or repair tires and wheels, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will also assist leadership with ordering/maintaining wheel assembly supplies, equipment maintenance, and preventative maintenance tasks.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as a tire technician, possess basic mechanical aptitude, and be able to work independently. You must be able to sit, stand or kneel for an extended period and demonstrate past problem-solving, tool usage, and repair experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tire repairs, rotations, and balancing
  • Inspect, install, balance, rotate or repair tires and wheels
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Assist leadership with ordering/maintaining wheel assembly supplies
  • Assist leadership with equipment maintenance and preventative maintenance

Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience as a tire technician
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, tool usage, and repair experience
  • Ability to sit, stand or kneel for an extended period
