Mercedes-Benz Ringwood, one of Melbourne's leading authorised Mercedes-Benz passenger car, sales, service, and parts dealerships, is seeking to employ a highly motivated and experienced Tyre and Alignment Technician in our Ringwood Dealership.
This role will be responsible for performing tyre and alignment repairs in accordance to repair orders.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Removing and replacing tyres
- Conducting wheel alignments
- Diagnosing tyre damage wear & tear
- Diagnosing wheel balancing problems and wheel balancing
- Performing puncture repairs conforming to relevant standards
- Selecting correct tyres, rims and accessories
- Providing a high standard of customer service in a professionally presented environment
What you will need to have to succeed in this position:
- Be punctual and reliable
- You must be living in Australia to be able to apply
- A valid Australian driver's license
- Previous tyre fitting, balancing and fault diagnosis experience
- Sound knowledge and adherence to OH&S practices
- Have a genuine interest in the motor industry and be a motor industry professional
- Keen to undertake ongoing training and development
We offer an attractive hourly rate, bonus structure, factory training as well as a clean, safe, well-equipped workshop with a friendly team atmosphere. Dedicated management support is also provided. Our dealerships take pride in customer service and cultivating a productive and positive work environment whilst having fun at work.
To be considered for this unique opportunity, you must hold permanent Australian residency and a current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence. The successful applicant will be required to undertake standard police checks prior to commencement.
