This Enrolled Nurse position focuses on delivering holistic, person-centred care to clients in their homes. Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will provide evidence-based care that promotes positive health outcomes under the indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse.
You will work collaboratively with clients and the healthcare team to implement, monitor, and evaluate nursing care. This role is centred around building therapeutic and professional relationships with clients in their homes and contributing to a culture that reflects the NSW Health CORE values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect, and Empowerment.
About YouWe are seeking an Enrolled Nurse who demonstrates:
- Key skills (non-negotiable):
- Wound assessment and clinical management
- Urinary catheter care and management
- Palliative care support
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build respectful and professional relationships with clients and colleagues. They will also have the ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team, with a commitment to person-centred, culturally respectful, and safe care.
A willingness to continue learning and developing in the community nursing environment is essential. Other skills can be developed on the job, with the support of mentors, Nurse Practitioners, and Clinical Nurse Specialists.
