Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to lead a small team of digital practitioners in the management of a government agency's digital infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering customer-focused communications outcomes, including media management, corporate communications, marketing and creative services, digital development, and events and sponsorships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the digital delivery team and workflow to ensure effective and efficient provision of online communication through a range of channels and communication streams.
  • Review and evaluate digital content against internal and external trends, aligning with whole-of-Government standards and best practice guidelines, implementing improvements to the effectiveness of digital content, service delivery and performance.
  • Manage and develop digital communication frameworks, project plans, briefs, and strategies to support the creation of relevant, engaging and innovative content concepts, with project coordination of the delivery of content to delivery programs and initiatives in an online environment.
  • Manage digital content across various platforms including Content Management Systems (CMS), e-communications systems and any other distribution platform and establish and communicate processes, policies and protocols to ensure accurate style, tone, and branding, and in compliance with Government media standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate advanced knowledge of digital content methodology, including content practices, formats, creative direction, delivery, distribution and management of digital infrastructure. You should also have knowledge of marketing and communications theory and methodology, with proven experience in applying contemporary digital media practices, strategy, planning project mapping/planning, workflow planning and implementation road-mapping.
