Financial Services Technology Risk Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Services Technology Risk Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with passion for IT risk management in the financial sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional IT Risk management services to our financial services clients, working closely with banking, insurance, and wealth management clients.

Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is crucial in this role, with flexible working arrangements available.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Support audit teams by identifying financial reporting related IT risks.
  • Evaluate General Controls (GC) design and operating effectiveness.
  • Provide control assurance reporting, including GS007, ASAE3150, SOC1, and SOC2.
  • Offer a broad range of Technology risk services, relating to regulatory compliance, e.g. CPS 234 and CPS 230.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage risks derived from an organisation engaging with third parties.
Skills and Attributes for Success
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and experience in IT auditing, controls assurance, and internal auditing.
  • A result-oriented mindset with commercial acumen.
  • Ability to identify engagement and client service issues using knowledge of current IT trends and best practices.
