Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Cairns, where you will play a vital role in helping clients develop and maintain the skills needed for daily living and working.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive needs to inform personalized treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement individualized interventions to promote client independence and improve quality of life.
  • Educate clients and their families about strategies and techniques to support recovery and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic client care and stay current with industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current registration with AHPRA or eligibility to apply (completed stage 1 desktop assessment).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
