About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Senior Engineer to join our team at Westpac. As a key member of our Enterprise DevSecOps Team, you will play a crucial role in enabling the flow from concept to working solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement DevSecOps tools' standards and common ways of working at enterprise scale.
  • Develop and maintain a suite of components to ensure availability, integrity, currency, and usability.
  • Mentor and work with other Engineering team members to realise our vision and uplift their DevOps/SRE capabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with diverse technical teams, system architects, product owners, and platform consumers.
Requirements
  • Experienced with both SaaS and on-premises tools engineering, including AWS, Azure, Terraform, Vault, pipelines, and configuration management tools like Ansible/CHEF.
  • Strong experience working in CI, CD, CR, and Agile at enterprise scale.
  • Expertise with Linux (RHEL) and Windows operating systems administration and networking.
  • Experience in orchestration of on-premises and cloud workloads via cloud platform APIs and use of tools like Terraform, VRA, etc.
