Acoustic Engineer Role Summary

This is a key opportunity to develop and implement technical solutions in acoustic consulting, focusing on noise modelling, data analysis, and detailed reporting.

  • Conduct thorough assessments of noise and vibration impact across various projects, including transport infrastructure, power & renewable energy, buildings, water, and environmental noise.
  • Apply sound technical expertise to ensure high-quality results and meet client expectations, leveraging skills in acoustic engineering, noise modelling software (SoundPLAN, CadnaA, EASE, etc.), and relevant standards.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold tertiary qualifications in engineering, science, or a related field.
  • Bring 5-10 years of relevant experience in acoustic/noise/vibration engineering, with a focus on consulting.
  • Have proficiency in programming languages (R Studio, MATLAB, Python) and/or data visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau), preferably with knowledge of noise modelling software.
