Acoustic Expert Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Acoustic Expert to contribute to the technical delivery of noise and vibration assessments for various projects.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in acoustic first principles, noise and vibration modelling, prediction, evaluation of results, control of impacts, and monitoring.

  • Proven experience in delivering environmental acoustics-related projects;
  • Excellent communication skills, including report writing and oral communication;
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive acoustic assessments;
  • Supporting the technical delivery of noise and vibration projects across various sectors;
  • Leading and writing proposals, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive, plan, and deliver integrated projects.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant degree in Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field such as Physics or Environmental Engineering;
  • 8+ years of applicable experience;
  • A strong understanding of acoustic first principles and be able to demonstrate technical acumen in areas including noise and vibration modelling and prediction, evaluation of results, control of impacts, and monitoring.
