Job Title: Senior Executive Director of Youth Detention Operations and Reform

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Executive Director to lead our Youth Detention Operations and Reform division. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our youth detention centres, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality advice and information to the Director-General and Minister on matters relating to youth detention operations and service delivery.
  • Lead the provision of effective, efficient, and responsive services through the development and implementation of sound contemporary services and practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Drive practices and work collaboratively across the government, non-government, and private sector to implement the department's strategic direction.
  • Provide high-level and specialist advice and information to the Director-General and Minister on youth detention operations and reform.
  • Lead the investigation of important organizational issues and stimulate the development of strategies to resolve problems affecting youth detention centre operations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in leading and managing large-scale operations and reform initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues.
