Job Description: ICT Business Analyst (Financial Engineer)Role Overview

The main purpose of this role is to coordinate interest rate compression cycles and act as a link between client outcomes and internal developers to reach optimum solutions in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with business users to understand requirements and define 'As Is' and 'To Be' processes.
  2. Perform gap analysis using data and process modeling techniques to create system specifications.
  3. Manage the development of business process specifications and system functional and non-functional specifications.
  4. Review and revise documentation in light of new or changing information.
  5. Ensure risks are managed in accordance with set risk framework.
  6. Understand and adhere to enterprise methodologies and processes in relation to project delivery.
  7. Deploy functional solutions and conduct user acceptance testing.
  8. Liaise with developers and attend meetings to discuss potential solutions to defects.
  9. Develop project plans using project management methodologies.
  10. Create user and training documentation and conduct formal training classes.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree level or higher.
  2. 2-3 years working in high-performance computing environments in capital markets or investment banking.
  3. Acquired knowledge of Calypso application.
  4. Practical experience with UNIX, R, SAP, Oracle, VBA, AWS, APIs, REST, and SOAP.
  5. Experience with SQL database.
  6. Exceptional mathematical or engineering abilities.
  7. Previous clearing house experience preferred.
  8. Leadership and training skills.
  9. Enthusiastic and co-operative attitude.
  10. Effective negotiation, communication, and time management skills.
