Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Employment Consultant.
About the Job
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and guiding clients to attain suitable employment opportunities that lead to sustainable outcomes. Your customer service skills will enable you to build rapport with clients, assist them on their employment journey, and overcome barriers to employment.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to manage the referral & intake process of job seekers into their chosen program.
Assessment of job seeker skills, abilities, identification of barriers, and intervention strategies.
In consultation with job seekers, develop and maintain work preparation strategies, job seeking strategies, tailored interventions (including other service providers) and employment support activities.
Reverse marketing of job seekers to achieve sustainable employment opportunities.
Providing pre-employment assistance through vocational counselling, training, job search skills, and work trials/work experience to increase capacity for employment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong communication skills, attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, ability to use computer systems, excellent data accuracy & note taking, build rapport, grow & maintain relationships with clients, peers, & jobseekers.

What We Offer
A 25% scholarship towards undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Torrens University.
13 days personal leave and 10 Well-being days per annum for full-time staff and pro-rata for part-time staff, paid parental leave and ability to purchase extra leave.
