Data Engineering Role Overview

As a seasoned data engineering professional, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using ADF.
  • Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automation using Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, architects, and stakeholders to develop high-quality, reliable data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, performance, and security across all data integration processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with ADF and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL)/Extract Load Transform (ELT) development.
  • Experience with other Azure services such as Data Lake, Synapse, and Azure SQL.
  • Background in finance or other regulated environments preferred.
  • Understanding of cloud-based data architecture and modern data engineering practices.

Bonus Requirements:

  • Familiarity with data governance and compliance best practices.
  • Experience with reporting/visualisation tools like Power BI.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and automation in Azure environments.
