About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Estimator/Estimator to join our Building and Construction team at McMahon Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates, cost plans, and tender schedules for a wide range of commercial and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze project requirements to determine pricing components and identify associated subcontractors and suppliers
- Prepare detailed estimates, cost plans, and tender schedules using industry-standard software
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Liaise with project teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of estimates and cost plans
- Provide expert advice on cost management and estimation best practices
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 10+ years' experience in the building and construction industry, with a strong background in estimation and cost management
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality estimates and cost plans
- Strong knowledge of industry-standard software, including Cost X and MS Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, suppliers, and project teams
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
