Test Lead Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and motivate our test teams in a highly results-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in quality assurance testing, including manual and automated testing, as well as test planning, development, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, negotiate, and schedule business resource requirements for testing efforts
  • Lead, guide, and monitor the analysis, design, implementation, and execution of test cases
  • Maintain currency of current test environments and provide advice on requirements for future test environments
  • Improve the maturity and awareness of testing across the organisation
  • Recognise and implement test automation when appropriate
  • Provide end of testing summary reporting as required

Required Skills and Qualifications

Core Competencies:

  • Experience leading and motivating test teams in a highly results-oriented environment
  • ISTQB Foundation Level certification
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or 5+ years of test management experience
  • Proven experience with quality assurance testing, including manual and automated testing
  • Test planning, development, and delivery
  • Implementation of test automation frameworks
  • Defect Management from testing
  • Reporting of testing outcomes
  • Excellent oral and written communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently, but also a strong team player who works well with others
  • A quick and resourceful learner, able to pick up new concepts swiftly and hit the ground running
