As a Strategic Planning Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving business outcomes and efficiency. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with Technology and Crew General Managers to provide effective delivery oversight and manage governance rhythms.

You will also be responsible for working with senior leadership to define and manage objectives and key results. This involves providing business insight and strategic advice to inform decision-making and drive performance.

Another critical aspect of this role is partnering with RBS Executives, Finance, and other key stakeholder groups on performance reporting, planning & forecasting, investment & operational decision support, expense management, business intelligence, resource management, and line 1 risk.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will be part of the Retail Bank's Performance Chapter and Line of Business Leadership Team. The Performance Chapter is responsible for ensuring that the CBA Retail Bank has the strategy, portfolio, and processes in place to deliver the Group's vision and enable RBS's ambitions.

As a Strategic Planning Lead, your impact will be felt through orchestrating the annual and quarterly planning cycle to achieve business outcomes and efficiency. You will track and report progress against crew objectives and key results, leveraging data-driven insights to inform continuous improvement opportunities.

Key skills and qualifications for this role include being a strategic thinker, problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a background in strategy, program delivery, finance, or consulting. You should have demonstrated experience in analysing data and performance, dissecting metrics, leading cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders at all levels, communicating complex information clearly and concisely, managing financial resources effectively, and adhering to compliance obligations.

Preferred skills and qualifications include experience working in agile programs and/or projects, teaching and leading by example, improving yield delivered by investing internally, shaping the future of retail banking, and managing stakeholders.
