Job Description

We are seeking individuals to provide 24/7 support for young people living in residential care. Our team works with young people from a background of trauma, aiming to help them thrive by focusing on their strengths.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote a person-centred approach to direct care, ensuring individual needs are met.
  • Provide emotional support and crisis intervention.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming home environment.
  • Encourage young people to develop independent living skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications in Residential Care or related areas are necessary. A Certificate IV in Community Services or Welfare is also required. Additionally, a current First Aid Certificate and experience in therapeutic interventions and behaviour management strategies are essential.

As a Support Worker, you will contribute to the safety and development of young people. You will work under limited supervision, have the ability to manage duties associated with home management, and be willing to work a flexible roster, including weekends and evenings.
