Job Overview

About the Role

As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the delivery of specialized equipment and enclosures for major projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components for custom-built equipment and enclosures.
  • Prepare detailed 3D models, drawings, and documentation for manufacturing.
  • Support projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring technical and quality standards are met.
  • Work closely with fabrication and production teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Liaise with project managers, suppliers, and clients to provide engineering support.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in design processes and standards.
Skills and Experience
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years experience in mechanical design within manufacturing, fabrication, or heavy industry.
  • Strong skills in CAD (SolidWorks or similar) for 3D modelling and drafting.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes, structural design, or enclosures (desirable).
