
Project Development Manager

Lead mechanical engineering and delivery on major projects, overseeing the project lifecycle from concept through to site handover.
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and production teams nationally.
- Deliver end-to-end mechanical projects, shaping critical infrastructure across Australia.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the delivery of specialized equipment and enclosures for major projects.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical systems and components for custom-built equipment and enclosures.
- Prepare detailed 3D models, drawings, and documentation for manufacturing.
- Support projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring technical and quality standards are met.
- Work closely with fabrication and production teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Liaise with project managers, suppliers, and clients to provide engineering support.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in design processes and standards.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years experience in mechanical design within manufacturing, fabrication, or heavy industry.
- Strong skills in CAD (SolidWorks or similar) for 3D modelling and drafting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes, structural design, or enclosures (desirable).
